Cost cards / paying yourself

What does the cash price actually mean?

The maker’s published price may differ from a special offer or your final bill. Ask the pharmacy what you would pay today and for later supplies.

Is there an official cagrilintide price?

As of September 28, 2026, there was no official price for cagrilintide or CagriSema, which combines it with another medicine, semaglutide.

The prices below are context for a different medicine that may come up at a care visit. They are not cagrilintide quotes.

An experimental drug listing does not supply a price for an approved treatment.

What is a real price example?

Semaglutide is the medicine in Ozempic and Wegovy. The maker’s cash prices ranged from $149 to $499 per month on September 26, 2026.

That range covers pills and shots, with different prices for each product and strength.

For the Ozempic offer, patients also had to be US residents aged 18 or older.

The strengths below identify prices, not which shot to use. Ask the pharmacy to check the offer’s rules for you.

New patients paying themselves could get Ozempic or Wegovy shots for $199 a month for the first two monthly supplies. The offer covered just two strengths: 0.25 mg, along with 0.5 mg.

Its printed terms ran through December 31, 2026, so later prices need a fresh check.

Ask about visit and test fees too; the medicine price does not answer those questions.

Does cash spending count toward insurance?

Under the September 2026 offer, you pay the drug maker yourself. That spending does not reduce your insurance deductible or count toward your yearly limit on what you pay.

Your deductible is what you pay for covered care before the plan begins to pay.

Ask your plan how this separate medicine bill would affect your other bills. Ask the care service which fees are charged separately.

Ask: What will my next supply cost after the offer ends?
