Cost cards
What goes into the bill?
Start with the whole bill. A medicine price tells you only part of what to ask.
Can I get a cagrilintide price yet?
As of September 28, 2026, there was no official US price for cagrilintide or CagriSema, which adds another medicine, semaglutide.
FDA, the US drug agency, had approved neither medicine then. Federal law also did not allow pharmacies to mix or make their own cagrilintide medicine.
For any other treatment discussed at a visit, ask for a bill broken into medicine, care visits, tests and follow-up.
Open the source note
Ask what medicine the price buys and whether it is approved.
How do I compare payment paths?
Use these questions for an approved medicine discussed with the doctor or other health professional who can prescribe it. Keep the care fee separate from the medicine fee.
With insurance
- Medicine
- Is the exact drug covered for my condition, and what would I pay?
- Care visit
- Is this visit covered, and is the care fee billed separately?
- Lab tests
- Which tests are needed, and where does the plan pay for them?
- Follow-up
- What is included, and what needs a separate visit?
Paying myself
- Medicine
- What is the full cash amount, and when does any offer end?
- Care visit
- Is this a visit charge or an ongoing membership?
- Lab tests
- Does the quote include ordering, the blood draw and the results review?
- Follow-up
- What contact is included, and what is charged on top?
Which costs need their own question?
Write down what is included and what is extra. An unclear answer is a reason to ask again before agreeing to pay.
