Cost cards / the written quote

What do I ask before agreeing to pay?

The most useful price is the one that tells you exactly what it pays for.

Which product does the quote cover?

Ask: What is the full product name, and who makes it?

As of September 28, 2026, FDA, the US drug agency, had approved neither cagrilintide nor CagriSema, which combines it with another medicine, semaglutide.

A confident answer about “care” does not answer a question about the product. Keep asking until the name is clear.

Open the source note

This is the product-status check that comes before the price comparison.

Which payments are separate?

  • Medicine: is it included or billed elsewhere?
  • Care: a visit fee, a membership, or both?
  • Tests: what is ordered, and what is charged?
  • Follow-up: what help comes with the fee?
  • Delivery: is any charge added?
  • Cancellation: when does billing stop?

Request the answers in writing. Leave space beside each item for “included,” “extra” or “not answered.”

What changes after the offer?

  • Does the price apply to a first fill or to later fills too?
  • Must I agree to pay for several months to get this price?
  • What amount is due if insurance does not pay?
  • What payment is due if no prescription is issued?

As of September 26, 2026, some online care services advertised a cheaper first month. Others lowered the membership price if you agreed to pay for six or twelve months. Medicine cost extra.

A quote is ready to compare when the later cost is as clear as the first cost.
